Despite being canceled (twice!) Family Guy is still going strong with production of episodes scheduled to continue at least until 2012.

Family Guy is centered around the slightly dysfunctional Griffin family, made up of Peter, Lois, Stewie, Chirs, Meg and Brian (the talking dog!). Set in the fictional town of Quahog, Rhode Island, the series also features a few other regular characters. Those popping up frequently in Family Guy episodes include the sex addict Glenn Quagmire, Cleveland and Loretta Brown, paraplegic Joe Swanson and wife Bonnie and the news anchors Tom Tucker and Diane Simmons. With other characters including the geeky Mort Goldman and Mayor Adam West (based on and voiced by Adam West himself) there’s no shortage of material for some great shows – and they rarely fail to produce one! Oh, and we shouldn’t forget Ernie the giant chicken!

With rumors of a full feature length Family Guy movie coming soon, as well as spin-off The Cleveland Show staring Cleveland Brown due to debut toward the end of 2009, there should be no let up in the popularity of Family Guy. So why not ‘get the t-shirt’.
