Originally published by DC Comics in the 1980’s and reprinted since, the Watchmen has gained a fair bit of cult status over the years. As for the movie, it is set in the 80’s when Superheros have been outlawed. However, when a superhero is murdered, one of the Watchmen, Rorschach, sets out on a mission to find out who’s behind it. I wont go any further for fear of putting out spoilers.

It’s no real surprise that after the hype leading up to the release of the movie last weekend it was an instant success, taking nearly $25M between the midnight screenings on Thursday and the screenings on Friday. So, ‘Who’s watching the Watchmen?‘, well, quite a few people apparently.

The Watchmen t-shirt designs below feature the infamous Smiley Face with blood on it, the poster with Rorschach on it and a design with Ozymandias and the infamous line quoted above.
